No. Photoshop Online runs entirely in your web browser. You just need a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. No plugins, extensions, or downloads required.
No. All image processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your computer – we don't upload, store, or analyze any of your data.
You can import JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, SVG, GIF, and BMP files. Export is available in JPG, PNG, and WebP formats with adjustable quality settings.
There's no strict server-side limit since everything runs locally. However, very large images (above 50 megapixels) may cause slower performance depending on your device's memory and processing power.
Yes! The editor supports multiple layers with adjustable opacity and blend modes. You can add, delete, duplicate, reorder, and merge layers – just like in desktop image editors.

Yes. The crop tool supports free-form cropping as well as preset aspect ratios (1:1, 4:3, 16:9, etc.). You can also specify exact pixel dimensions for precise control.
Use the resize tool to change image dimensions. Enter the desired width and height in pixels. You can lock the aspect ratio to prevent distortion. Resizing works for the entire canvas or individual layers.
Currently, the editor is designed for editing one image at a time. For batch processing needs like converting multiple images, check out our Base64 Converter which supports up to 20 images simultaneously.
Photoshop Online covers the most common image editing needs: cropping, resizing, filters, layers, text, and drawing. For highly specialized professional workflows like 3D modeling or advanced compositing, desktop applications may be more suitable.
Currently, the editor does not save project files. We recommend exporting your work as PNG (lossless) to preserve quality for future editing. Closing the browser tab will lose any unsaved changes.
